Portable water treatment

2.O Ultrafiltration

Ultrafiltration (UF) forms part of Tenitech Africa (K) Limited family of membrane processes for water treatment and forms part of its ranges of tubular membranes. UF is a filtration process used in water treatment that helps remove particulates and macromolecules from untreated water for potable water (drinking water) production, among many others. Ultrafiltration membrane filtration uses either pressure forces or concentration gradients to enable separation through semipermeable membranes. Suspended solids and high molecular weight solutes are retained while the water and low molecular weight solutes pass through.
In many instances, ultrafiltration membranes are used for pre-filtration purposes in reverse osmosis (RO) plants to protect the RO membranes. Used after the clarification stage ultrafiltration, along with microfiltration and nanofiltration, is used for the biological, physical and mechanical separation of solids from treated water.
3.0 Nanofiltration

Tenitech Africa (K) Limited Water Technologieshelps operators achieve stringent water quality in a range of water, wastewater and desalination treatment applications with leading nanofiltration technologies and expertise.
We supply a range of nanofiltration membranes, which we can supply individually or as part of a turnkey in-ground or modular plant for municipal and industrial water treatment requirements.

CHEMICALS FOR NANOFILTRATION
Tenitech Africa (K) Limited manufactures specific chemicals for membrane filtration applications. These include includes DE chlorination, surface disinfection and membrane cleaning design to help operators reduce maintenance and operational costs, protect the membranes and ensure smooth and efficient operation.
The range covers chemicals suitable for Nano filtration:
• Anti-scaling agents
• Biocides
• Chlorine removal
• C.I.P programs
